would lowering a 172 about 40mm on 17'' wheels be a bit silly? I was thinkin about lowering mine a bit more, currently lowered 25 at the front and 15 at the rear but not sure if the wheels would rub?
a grand a year isn't that bad depreciation considering clios are bloody common! Sounds like a pretty fair deal on the part ex depending on how much they want for the 182
Well it just made that "flick" sound it makes when the autolights turn themselves off, but like I said the xenons were still on. Is it a pain to access the area behind the speedo where the LEDs and fuse are kept?
It just flicked off this morning. Thought my lights were goosed, but the xenons were still on, so it's the bulb in behind the speedo.
Where can I get a replacement bulb and how easy is it to take the dash apart to replace it lol
I've noticed recently how crap standard brakes are on the 172. I don't feel safe when it's wet to be honest!! I need to upgrade them. Any recommendations. I don't really want to spend a grand, so prob 4-500 quid max!!
cheers
Yeah they had literally wiped out a section of the central reservation! Looked pretty bad, loads of cop cars racing down the hard shoulder of the south side! The traffic was tailed back about 10 miles on M6 south when I went past. But that was at 7am!
Thinking about getting the 172 mapped soon! Is it worth it? I've got a BMC CDA with a caf and a GDI exhaust. I would probably get a decat a before the remap as well!! do they make much difference?
Cheers

you need one of these mate. Highly recommend you get a cold air feed, otherwise the BMC CDA will have an adverse effect other than a nice noise! You'll need to remove to acoustic valve which is 30 min job for a novice...
