Another vote for the Last Touch in for claying duties can be cut half and half with water for claying so becomes even more effective. Though I tend to make some soap and water lube for claying even cheaper!
As above, sounds like you need to go into the menus and set it up. if it charges or not is a user selectable option, as if if you control the ipod from the h/unit or from the ipod itself. Been ages since I set mine up and I cant find the manual here at the moment.
I have a few of the Sonus ones in the link, they are quite course feeling so better for polishing jobs, I use the foam ones for waxes and glazes. Clearkote do some softer Microfiber covered ones which I used to apply some pre wax cleaners and sealants.
If working by hand Laura of the shelf in Halfords something like Meguiars Scratch X may be an option. I would use on specific defects rather than the whole car as it will need repeated applications and some elbow grease.

Be good to know what you think when you do, that is the deciding factor into me buying some. The likes of CG 50/50 and Pinnacle Souveran look great until you wash them then they lose that edge and need another coat. Onyx is the only budget wax I have found so far to buck that trend.

Same product as the Poorbuys Nattys wax, about the same durability wise, slighly harder to apply. Looks wise more glossy but not as deep looking as the P21s. Pn Silver doubt you will see much difference tbh.
Just saw the other post, get some Autoglym Engine and Machine Cleaner and Autoglym Vinyl and Rubber care too and you will be able to do the engine bay.
Nice work - Get the 120 quid and I will spend it for you! Doubt they will have the all products I would recommend.
