The only problem will be the Alcantara in the 182, everything else can be deep cleaned with Megs APC or AG Interior Cleaner. Follow up withy Autoglym Autofresh.
I very rarely use a wax or sealant by machine. The only advantage of applying them by machine is it is easy to apply a very thin coat, I use a 4 inch finishing pad for Megs 16 wax for this reason which is the only LSP I do machine apply.
The down side is with liquid waxes/ sealants you waste...
Work the polish on slow speeds first to spread it out evenly across the panel before cranking up the speed.
If you use to much speed at first or to much product there will be splatter everywhere, same as if you lift the machine off while the polish is wet and the machine is spinning.
The Sonus Polishes have got some good reports I have never used them myself so can't comment. But they would work before the RMG, I would be tempted, skip the RMG and do the SRP, EGP and P21s after myself.
Nothing bar waxes will really sit properly over a the RMG as it is quite oily in it's...
Don't read to much into the Red Machine Glazes swirl removal ability it will only have the correction ability of the pad really doing the work, it is a glaze and will make more than it will remove. Lovely product but the label/descriptions contain alot of b****cks!

One order turned up fine for me the next order I did took ages to come and included a trip to the courier company miles away to collect it and then they could not find the parcel. Not bothered since.
You sit far to high and feel like your sat on the seat balancing on it rather than in it. My run of the mill 1400 306 has a more sporty feeling seating position. Drive a 205 or 306 GTi and then get back in your Clio and see where the issues are.

Importing yourself should save you some cash, the UK machine will be 240V so will mean no need for the transformer etc so could be swings and roundabouts on the price.
Not enough info on the UDM at the moment, so still to early to tell. Most people over here are waiting for a UK machine rather than importing them over as they would a normal P.C hence the lack of info on them. The PC sounds like it will be fine for your needs though.
I apply most things hand wise with foam hand pads and remove with a microfiber cloths.
Washing - Lambswool Wash Mitt to help prevent marks.
Dry - Unless using filtered water, dry with a Microfiber Drying towel.
