    Lowering my car

    i lowered mine 40 and it improved the handling and i didnt notice any difference in ride quality. Tom lowered his 60 without getting uprated shocks, hence the harsh ride. If your going to lower more than 40, its defo worth getting uprated shocks.

    now ive got a question for anyone with the ktec lexus lights, version 2. When you have your normal dipped beam on, is it the smaller top bulb that lights up, or the larger bottom one. Because with me its the top one, it dosent seem that bright for a rear light. I doubt ive installed them...

    if its on the paint work i wouldnt use petrol, might cause some damage..not sure. I use petrol everywhere else though, ie plastic and windows.

    id advice you just get 60mm, even without uprated shocks. Because in a few months you will be like me...well its low...but not low enough. So like me you will end up paying for another set of springs. Of hand...Anyone want a set of apex 40mm springs? been on the car about a month?

    How dirty are you

    mine is pretty clean. Now im back at uni though its gonna go back to brown. God those back roads are dirty. Still wash it once a week though. You better wipe your number plate, my dad got fined 60quid last night for the same offence.

    soundproofing the doors wont make too much of a difference. Its only when you start covering your whole car in the stuff.

    as for applying wax polish..oh its hard work...but it makes some job of your car. You do have to do one bit at a time, but once you get going you fly through. It also leaves an almost water proof finish on your car for a good few weeks. I do it before the bad weather, then after it.
