Dont know about Remus at all - but they seem to be popular so are probably ok. Roamer has just had a K-Tek fitted, saw it this morning for the first time. Looks very well made, twin 3" round outlets and a nice fit. And if youre looking for LOUD then its def the one for you!
The Magnex has...
I thought it was a great day! My best was 15.487, Val got 16.421. Not bad for a first attempt, and a well organised, throughly enjoyable day. Roll on next season!! :D

A few dealers still seem to do the 6000 mile check. Its just a check mind you they dont change the oil or anything. I had my oil & filter changed at 6000 - the oil wasnt too dirty but what with trackdays etc I reckon its a good investment. 12k & 12k thereafter is correct for the 172.
My Magnex seems to have got louder at the back (more rorty) after a couple of thousand miles, but the awful boom in the cabin at 4k rpm has gone. In other words, things just get better & better!

Roamer is getting his fitted today. Hes done some before measurements with an AP22, so we should get the after figures soon. Hes getting a zorst at the same time but its the IK that will make the difference I believe. BenR got some great power increases with a Viper and a chip.

Thats ok John well just take em all off again to get a baseline figure! Anyhow, hope it turns up, and have a good day at the seaside tomorrow, and well see ya Saturday m8 :D
Make sure you try a Clio Cup VP - comparable to a CTR in terms of equipment (i.e. little in the way of luxuries), but at a rather more attractive price!
Im interested in getting this done, so heres my question. I understand that there are sensors on a Cat that send information to the ECU (Lambda???). What happens to these when the cat is replaced with a length of drainpipe? Or is there more to a de-cat pipe than I thought?

also worth looking at http://www.motorsport-events.co.uk/http://www.motorsport-events.co.uk/ They have a day this Friday at Kemble for £79 and another on the 11th October at Hullavington. Nice people.
I changed mine at 6000 and it was still quite clean, glad I didnt leave it until 12,000 though. Done another 4000 since then and the oils clean as a whistle.
