Quaife ATB diff, try Bernie @ www.gearboxman.co.uk top service with amazing reputation in ford RS scene. Cant see it being much over £1200.
EDIT: Seems they dont list one, maybe worth seeing if they want to develop one tho, test car would get a free one id imagine.
OK, cant find anything on the clio exhausts but a well known pug tuner states:
Now i know that the standard renault item could be sh*te, but dont assume aftermarket exhausts ARE going to give you more power. Noise does not indicate power!
^ If you bought the system for power gains then what was you expected final output? Take it the exhaust now has better flow with optimum diameter and tuned lengths???
What did the afr do? did you have to increase fueling in the map?
You think some tuning company actually make better exhausts...
Cant edit above  but seems dyno dynamics rollers should be run up in third gear as otherwise max roller speed is excedeed. Obviouslly adjusted so that the readings are acurate with far from the ideal 1:1 gearing.
Just two questions about that graph:
Why was the car run up in third gear as opposed to forth?
Take it BP is the barometric pressure reading? Seems low, national physics lab says it never dropped below 99 on 21-10-05!
Reccomended is 98ron which is soley Optimax. Super and Ultimate are 97ron and regular 95ron.
None will cause damage, some see differences, some dont. Your choice.
Strange thing is MON rating is more relevant but not usually provided!
WOW pretty areodynamic i should imagine, up until recently the fastest cosworth recorded was mike rainbirds 395bhp@wheels saph which posted a ~180mph run, all others were in 170s!
This was limited space, but only feasable place to do it in UK.
Renault prob based the map on a perfect blueprinted engine and then mapped to safely allow use of low quality fuel.
No doubt gains could be found from a remap but i dont expect the car would run lean enough to cause a problem with just a polished & matched inlet.
Dan, how could boost be built up if at idle the wastegate is open due to the vacuum? They only work one way, try blowing/sucking (no jokes ;) ) a weak actuator.
Pls explain. My thoughts are that the wastegate is controlled by the actuator which opens at a set pressure, there are no means the wastegate could be opened without boost pressure.
Even then all the wastegate does is to allow excess exhaust gas to bypass the turbo.
The idea is to keep the turbo spinning by expelling the pressure in the inlet, thus when you open the throttle in the next gear lag is reduced, assuming the revs are above the boost threshold of the turbo.
Without a dump/re-curc valve the boost remains but the dense air in the inlet greatly...
As stu8v said, pads are what will mainly govern operating temp, i ran 1144s and found them great for fast road and just swap for 1155s for track if overheating.
You get what you pay for and as he said money is not a problem, who wouldnt get APs???
