Watering Can or get some more buckets so you can rinse it as soon as you have washed it.
Other way is to wash and dry it in sections at a time. Roof, Windows, bonnet sides etc.
As said no point seeing pics of clayed cars it adds nothing to the cars looks, just ensures the paint is smooth and free of stuck on dirt washing alone won't remove.
The protecting of the alloys will be done by the EGP. If it is a new car you should not need anything other than a wash with soap and water, a polish with the SRP and onto the EGP.
Use the SRP and EGP on the alloys save buying another product.
