Still trying to think of something to make the car easily identifiable (for photos) whilst its screeching down the pit straight. Last time many of our photos turned out to be other red cars! I thought maybe a fluorescent green or orange strip of tape covering the front number plate.
Cant wait...

Its never been as bad as you describe Ben, but it does take a couple of goes sometime when the engines hot. It doesnt get quite as hot here as it does in HK m8

Yes, especially if you could get the stuff specially packaged so that a 1 litre bottle would go through the letterbox instead of having to be collected from the post office!

You can change em all you want but its mighty difficult to fundamentally change the driving position! Its the same with a normal 172 - something you get used to. The trick is to sit closer to the steering wheel than you normally would. I sat in a Cup and found the seats just fine - different to...

Popped into Demon Tweeks today - lots of nice cars around - saw 2 willys on the way there. Driving out of Wrexham industrial estate I see a tricked-up Escort in the mirror. No worries I think, Ill bide my time until we get to the A525 and leave him for dead.
Only it wasnt quite like that...
Wow! Same question twice in one day! Anyhow, same answer. See this thread..

Brilliant job guys. Any chance of making the hi-res images available please Jas? I can print these off on premium glossy photo paper - theyll look much better than that the flyers we have at the moment.
Cheers,
Mike.
Lots of peeps have done 17s - have a look in the gallery. The tyre fitment guide (look under Styling on the home-page main menu) gives info on tyre sizes. Dont think anyones done 18s on a MkII 172 yet.
I wouldnt do the wheels (particularly 18s) until youve had it lowered though, or itll end...
Any plans to offer SMTP sos we can send as well Jas? This sort of thing might become quite popular now that some of the broadband providers are beginning to offer wires only services.
