In my experience too much democracy usually leads to these events getting no-where. Just do a quick straw poll then make a decision. Most people will like a track thats pretty central, and is wide with safe run-out areas. Ill go pretty much anywhere that fills the bill. Might be best to avoid...
Warm the sticker with a hairdryer. This melts the glue and then you can peel it off. You can buy sticky stuff remover from Halfords if theres any resudue, but de-icer will often do the job just as well.

Took mine up to 3500 for the running in period, bt occasionally spun it up higher when not under load e.g. downhill on the motorway. Pretty much ragged it after though! Mind you I did all mine in a day so didnt have to wait long

Only on the Renault exhaust - but then thats in the skip anyway! The Magnex has a lifetime warranty, which is rather better than the 3 year one on the original.

Agreed the Cup race car was awesome - theyd have to do something about that gearbox if you wanted to use it anywhere but a track though! Question: If you had a Clio Cup Race car, what mods would you do?
Hmmm dunno - I knew that a back-box was a cut n shut job, but I didnt really think that Renault would make an entire exhaust including the cats all in one piece, so I never asked whether there was any violence invloved in fitting a cat-back. The people at Demon Tweeks would know though cos they...
Dead easy - I just got someone else to do it! No seriously - Demon Tweeks fitted it for me - I watched them take the old one off - no sawing or anything - the whole thing took about 20 minutes I suppose. Fits really nicely - there are pics in the Exterior Modifications forum under a thread...

Yeah that bloke (Alan?) was a nutcase - on the way back into the pits I thought he was going to take out half a dozen of our cars - he was still sideways Wasnt there supposed to be a 30 limit in that pit lane?!!
I bought a Magnex cat-back system last week, and called a couple of days ago to be told that there isnt a de-cat for the Mk2 yet. When there is it will be a simple add-on to the cat-back system though.
Hi Dazman - my 2p worth..
I guess the answer is - it depends on what you are trying to achieve!
If you are going for maximum performance for track days, Santa Pod etc, forget the big wheels as theyll slow your car down a little. Lowering will improve the handling a treat though, as well as...
The bloke who sorted mine is called John Harris. Hes got stuff for me before, he knows what hes on about and hell give you a bit of a discount if you mention youre from Cliosport. Theres a direct dial phone number for him: 01978 663057. Hell probably put you through to one of the tyre / exhaust...
