Why not have a members only forum - read-only for everyone else, with some reasonably strict guidelines as to content. Creates a rather more tangible incentive to behave, as members are easily identified.

Pulled up alongside one of these last night nice looking car - on a 51 plate so not running in or anything. Real good blast from the lights but I had him easy enough. Eased off and let him catch up a bit (he was really going for it) and then made a Palmersport-inspired left turn onto the...

Itll soon be 12,000 service time, and Renault will change my air filter and charge me a fortune for the standard item. Theres a PiperX panel filter for 32 quid. Is there any advantage at all in getting the PiperX, or should I just let Renault fit a new standard element?

This is a common problem. The leads for you seltbelt pretensioners have become loose. They are under the passenger & driver seats. If you can get hold of the relevant tech note you can fix it youself, otherwise itll take a Renault dealer about an hour. Make sure they do both sides!!

Agree with towser. You only hear about the problems - nobody posts to say my Clio has been faultless for the last 6 months or anything like that. Ive had 1 fault - airbag light coming on intermittently. The dealer knew exactly what the problem was and fixed it in an hour.

Solution: Take car to Demon Tweeks. Replace exhaust with Magnex cat-back system. Drive away happy!
