if your insurance company are fine with the prorace 1.2's then they'l be fine with 172 wheels.
if you're not insured for the 1.2's and you get pulled over and they check, you'l be driving with no insurance and get a HORTI, speaking from experience.
i'd declare the 1.2's but the 172 wheels...
I have a set of each at the moment and the 205's have much more grip and the car feels alot more planted through corners, however they need to be rock solid.
Yeah cheap 205's will feel ropey through cornering, as will any cheap tyres.
yeah i'm guessing there's still pretty good airflow up and under the bonnet and over the rad.
i run a simota style setup and the car feels pretty damn good anyways, only really notice the heat when in traffic for a while, as you've said!
by the way there are 1.34 horses to a kilowatt
dont put yourself down dude 155whp sounds about right.
28 deg inlet temps??? awesome
what induction are you running? PTFE gaskets with the the matched inlets?
if you've put a massive bend in the cold air feed they suck balls
just take the front face of the filter off along with the cold air feed and dont stop moving you'l never get heat soak!
get it off them 40 profiles and onto some 45's too dude.
get yourself some grip for gods sake!
tastefully done with the turinis though, silver looks spot on!
205's looked much better on my wheels as they stuck out a tiny little bit more,
but tyre brands differ so much that some 195's are just as fat as 205's
we've seen 5 year old belts on 40,000 miles snap under no load.
it's bullshit, dont risk it, quite a common failure on rs clios (if left unattended)
get the cambelt kit which includes pulleys too + aux belt, because it probably didn't have one at 36k either.
that's a pretty damn good find mate, looks mint, try and get a couple hundred off the price but just be happy with whatever you pay.
yellow is pretty rare though, if you like it go for it!
I have a gap which looks like my cam cover creaking open, can't get pictures right now unfortunatly of the gap
Is this the bolt for the top of the cam cover as it looks too long? anyone have an idea
Thanks alot, Alex
ahhhhh i see!
the type R has a fair few more horsepower than you, this is what's affecting the top end.
the only way to catch up would be more horsepower (cams+inlets) or ITB's if you want to leave him in the dust.
However i think if you lose some weight (rear seats, interior and get...
no not really, the rubber washers dont hold anything together. you can replace them with 2mm metal washers or just cut them down if you're worried.
hopefully get around to making that guide tmrw
