Glad its all worked well in the end. Next time i have a prob with my car i know who ill be calling on then ;)
I have a double garage inc fan heater and fully functional kettle with a selection of tea/coffee lol
Well dude...ive got a few little things to say to you.
1. Get your damn drivers side headlight alligned properly, its bloody blinding.
2. Was there any need to be swerving around behind me like a bell end in a 30?
3. That really was the wrong road for you to give me grief on once it went...
Good news guys, went out in the car this morning and after work and havent had a spot of bother. I'm wondering if a lead wasnt quite in right or something along them lines.
Fingers crossed anyway that all might be ok
i like the new front bumper on the campus. kind of resembles a 1*2 bumper. However the rear off the car (smooth rear boot, number plate on rear bumper) look vile.
Car defo needs lowering and imo smaller wheels. 16inch max on a mk2 clio unless a v6, that however is just my opinion :)
Quick update... Just had one of the plugs out and its a nice shiny new ngk pfr6e-10.
So it would appear that plugs arent the problem, any suggestions as to the next port of call anyone?
Re: ** PH2 RESTORE >> ROAD GOING GO-KART **
Well done mate. i must confess i have a loan as i started my apprenticeship when i was 19 and couldnt get to work without a car as we live in the sticks essentially. This meant i had to have a loan which is a vicious circle as one you have a car and...
Re: ** PH2 RESTORE >> ROAD GOING GO-KART **
Car looks great mate. Really envious of you. Ill be so glad when ive completed my apprenticeship and have some spare cash to spend on subtle mods.
if youve not bought them already you can buy them from yozzasport with pre pressed abs rings and bearings
http://www.yozzasport.co.uk/proddetail.php?prod=renaultsport_clio_172_182_cup_trophy_rear_brake_discs&cat=126
you may as well have new bearings really as no doubt theyll go not long after...
Is one needed or can you do the same as on the 1.2 and use a long socket on extension bar to undo the spark plug and pull it out using the HT lead?
If i need a spark plug removal tool what size do i need?
I dont want to buy new plugs yet as i want to remove mine to check what make they are as...
Saw 2 of you both on the road out of penkridge around 7.30 heading towards the m6 round about.
Then saw one of you again later in penkridge town about 10.30 as i was on my way towards the m6 lol. Think one of the cars was a valver but not 100%
Both were slightly modded but looked nice :)
The Clio badge is held on by pins.
The Renault & Sport badges are held on my glue. I removed my badge the otherday just applied lots of heat when removing them.
I couldnt help but feel the Sport badge looked rather tacky, and the Renault badge just didnt look right without the sport badge lol...
i use the box section that runs along the side of the car approx 30cm/1ft in from the sills. jack up a bit more towards the back and place the axle stands as far forward as possible.
Just cover the stands with an old rag/tshirt or somethign similar so that you dont damage the underseal
Sorry i meant to direct the question re -lambda cost at y100lad. was just typing quickly inbetween cooking tea lol
All being well i should have time over the weekend to get a look at the plugs. will keep you all updated.
First port of call is to check the plugs, if they are anything other than ngk's i will replace them and go from there.
Otherwise ill get into with Birchdowns, just all seems very coincidental that its happened since i had it serviced when we all know thats when it should be running at its best...
