Put a 1.8T engine in the clio as matt black did on the ClioTT?
225bhp out the box, will remap straight to 270bhp without any other mods, after that the skys the limit.
I would imagine its cheaper than turboing the 182 engine as well
I think its inevitable to be honest mate, especially in the 182. They see the twin exhausts and think im one of their crowd in a slow car with an aftermarket exhaust which gave 10bhp lol
You wouldnt, but arrogant luxury car drivers more than likely would be
I'll more than likely stick to the 2.0 badges, just thought id seej out some opinions first
lol well i already own a 2.0 badge and dci badge so figure it may as well be one of them two. it would be 1.2 or 2.0 ideally but the 1.2 badges are pretty rare it seems.
It's all about badging a car down...making it look less than it is. Suprises people more, makes it more of a sleeper i guess?
What does everyone think of these?

im very much in 2 minds about them. On one level theyre cool, on another a bit tacky, dont look all that oem which is my...
Hi Guys,
Ive decided i want my bullets on the side of my 182 painting, im going to go for anthracite with silver lettering.
The question is do i have my 2.0 16v badges done, or the dci badges that i bought a while back?
Lets hear your opinions....
edit - could a mod add a pole for me please?
In fairness i did get my moneys worth in lube alone, he not only offered me a wide selection of lubes ranging from KY to vasoline to durex play but also allowed ample quantities to be applied. lol
that looks very good. do we get discount with i4detailing?
I presume the 3 polishs/pads supplied (restore/enhance/final finish) are capable of removing swirls and scratches? (well the restore polish anyway).
I seem to be making an awful lot of threads this afternoon. But hey-ho.
I'm considering getting a machine polisher. Can anyone recomend one in particular? Also which products/pads would i be best starting off with? I have some swirl marks that need correcting and a few light scratches on the...
What i meant in relation to the 182 was i saw how immaculate you kept it :)
Swindons just over 2 hours away from me, will perhaps have to give him a bell and see what sort of costs are involved. Theres not a great deal to remove
iirc -
1 x passenger door
1 x passenger rear quater
1 x roof
2 x...
Hi guys,
These have been bugging me as long as ive had the car. Not sure if theyre stone chips or just baked on crap. They are in front of the rear wheel.
Any suggestions?
lol was £150 inc doing the stone chips, £140 for just the bumper. Was about £40 cheaper than my local body shop and i would say has done as good a job as they would have done
Hi guys,
Recently scraped my 182's front bumper, Middo recomended me Dave Hemmings from Chipsaway so i gave the guy a bell, he gave me a price, we booked a date....He came today and what a great job hes done. Really pleased with his work and would recomend him to anyone in Staffordshire who...
I must admit to having a soft spot for the astra coupes/gtis. Theyre a very sexy looking car which is why i came very close to buying one.
The only reason i didnt is that they need suspension mods to even handle remotely well according to the guys on astra sport. Stock they look at a corner and...
im guessing what we need here is to compare the Astra GSI to a Civic Type R.
Both 197bhp
Both 2.0 engines
1 turbo'd (the Astra) - 1 N/A (the Civic)
Only thing im not sure on is the weight difference between the two cars?
Would be interesting to see the outcome of a straight line drag race...
Your brake fluid is low.
This could be due to the fact that your pads are low. So before you go pouring new brake fluid in check the pad levels. I suspect they may need changing. How olds your car/mileage?
