go to page 2. PE2's are £87 a corner. Think they do a discount for buying a set as well.
£357 delivered for a set. Dont have them fit them as theyre damn expensive. Order them to be delivered and go pay someone local...
Hi guys,
Just been out to change the rear mounts on my exhaust. While doing them i noticed that around a joint in the exhaust were the centre pipe has been replaced it was very black.
Started the car up and sure enough i could feel the exhaust blowing through it (not very noisy but can feel...
Ferrodo premiers would be more than upto the job imo. Think Motor Factors charge about £12 for a set of them as well.
Ive got Ferrodo Premiers on my 182 and ive not cooked them yet so they must be pretty reasonable.
im considering installing some of these in the front footwells.

If you click the online quote button though they will email you back next day with a price, or alternatively as i said you could phone/go into your local store if you have one.
Ive just bought 2 from CES for £18.54 inc vat (collected from my local store)
Look a pretty reasonable quality, certainly no worse than the Renault parts and half the price! got to be worth a shot
ahhh yeah thats a point, didnt think of that.
If the cars under 72k and under 5 yrs old i would be moaning my tits of at Renault (in a calm and constructive manor) about this failure again providing it had the auxbelt changed last year.
Brembo max are good disks mate. You can get them cheaper than that though.
Think mine were just over £80 posted from GSF's ebay store. Might be worth speaking to gsf direct and see what they can do for you?
Ermmm no 182's are 5 years old yet. The cambelt should not be snapping.
Are you sure its not the aux belt which has snapped and taken the cambelt with it? aux belt should be changed at 3 yrs/36k.
If it is the cambelt which has gone and not an auxbelt fail i would defo be getting onto Renault...
Im paying £800 for me + the gf on my 182 with direct line. im 22 with 2 yrs ncb, shes 21. Was £740 for just me without the legal protection (again with direct line).
Greenlight were the cheapest last year, however this year they just couldnt come close.
Lol Like it.
Well directly across the road from my Renault dealer is....a GSF!
That'll do nicely i think...pretty good idea of GSF to set up there imo after people have been into Renault and been given an astronomical price for a washer or something.
Is this fairly normal? My expansion tank has gone from just under full when i got the car in Feb to just above empty now.
Am i ok just to top such a small amount up with water or do i need to use proper coolant from Renault?
Thanks, Russ
Olly - How are you finding the CES exhaust mounts? Are they showing any signs of sagging yet?
My mounts are long overdue a replacement and i refuse to pay Renault £22 for their crap if CES sell replacements for under £7
My exhaust heat shield is also starting to give up the ghost.
My plan is to get some largish squares of metal as opposed to washers and put them on instead which all being well should hold the thing on for a little while.
Laurs...How much was the new style Renault Sport Badge? Do you have a part number?
Car is looking nice, not 100% on the wheels but it is nice to see something a little different than opening a thread up and seeing anthricite turinis and the car slammed to the deck
There is no crossovers on the stock speakers in the clio, just a resistor in the tweeter to filter out low frequancies
Id personally buy one of these -

Snip the...
Rear disks & pads - £200 (if genuine Renault)
Front disks & pads - £150ish
Braided Hoses £50
Service £100
+ labour
- any discounts they are able to get on parts.
Id say somewere in the region of £500/600 personally
