T Cut is a sure fire way of installing as many marks as your removing. It is a old fashioned abbrassive which always has a strong cut which will not break down, leading to the likely hood of installing fine marks while attacking the deeper ones.
Newer abbrassives like Scratch X dimish/break...
Love Monaco Blue 172's - I would take the Ph-Pretty over the Ph-Ugly everyime and happily not lose any sleep it may be 0.00001 second slower in the real world.
I have both the Prima Hydro and the Duragloss to use on the wet car. As said I use both on the daily drive 306 and both perform well I have no preference on them.

The process is the same but there are two differnt options when it comes to claying. To use the clay you need to glide it over a lubricated surface.
To do this you can use either a quick detail spray as supplied in the kits to do it, or make up a much cheaper and more cost effective solution...
Some bits are good, some bits are very poor IMHO.
The 50/50 wax is great for the money and produces results that waxes double the price do.
The Synthetic Quick Detailer is also a nice product.
The Wash'n'wax is a decent shampoo, not impressed by maxi 'no' suds!
The damage will occur if it gets backed on and etches into the paint by the bright/hot sun. As long as the car has a layer of sealant or wax on it should help to stop the above occuring.
SRP and Klasse AIO both work fine by hand. Either of them topped woth Autoglym Extra Gloss Protection a a nice wax will look good.
Flat red really responds well to a glaze and wax combo. Something like Meguiars Show Car Glaze or Clearkote Vanilla Moose Hand Glaze topped with Meguiars 26...
You need to put a decent amount of pressure otherwise it will do very little. You need to apply enough pressure that allows the machine head to spin with out the motor bogging down.
I know a guy who can do a top notch job (has done work on cars for me in the past), does work for lots of magazine featured Superbikes etc he has seen the plenum and fuel rail guard on mine so knows what is involved, but I don't think it will be as cheap as most people would like it to be.
