£330 fitted. Im *really* hoping DT can get it delivered and fitted tomorrow! If not I may have to camp out at Demon Tweeks on Wednesday and get it fitted first thing, before the dash down to Bedford!

Ah well we didnt get to see a 172 with a twin-round. BUT; we soon will. I ordered one this morning and might just get it fitted in time for Wednesday at Bedford.

Ive been looking at painting my calipers for the past couple of weeks. I think black or silver would look best unless your cars got a really wacky colour scheme, in which case the red or yellow might be nice!. Apparently the kits (Folia) do give a very good finish. Still cant make my mind up!

I fitted Eibachs when mine was about a month old. Theyll fix your problem - wait until youve done the springs before you consider strut braces etc cos you might not want to bother after youve done the springs. Got mine from http://www.motorsportworld.co.uk/ they cost £126 delivered I think...

Hmmm, except we probably wouldnt get beat. Most beamer owners run out of bottle a bit too quickly in my experience. Maybe its because all the cars are owned by their girlfriends! However, if anyone wants to spend 30+ grand just to say he can beat a 172, so be it!

So if I see a Clio steaming up behind me into a bend with perfect downshifts but absolutely NO BRAKES Ill know its you! At least thats what happens to me every time I try it.

Same for the Mk2. A 30mm drop or thereabouts improves matters a lot.
