Polishing/Paint correction is all the same, just depends on the amount/sevcerity of defects. Even on what looks to be nearly A1 paint, the finish that can be achieved by machine even with a mild polish makes it a worth while buy.
I polished a few week old 2007 R32 on Sunday just with a...
Both the Final Finishes work well by hand, the Final Finish (PO106FF) worked better on removing some mionor marring the other day than Megs Scratch X.
The depth of gloss achievable by machine will never really be achieved easily by hand, and though the likes of Final Finsih dop work by hand...

Slow speed at a mini roundabout coming back to the dealers and I nearly ended up going round in a circle. Hard acceleration in the lower gears...
Sonus SFX 1 Light Cut Pad with the origional Formula Intensive Polish.
Then Sonus SFX 2 Polishing pad with Megs #80 as I had seen it work well on flat red so tried that rather than Final Finish.
The finish left by the IP alone was wax/sealant ready by the #80 really added extra gloss. My mate...
Neither are as easy to use as SSR 2.5.
IP yeilds the best finish for me. I did a red 306 Rallye with it yesterday and followed it with Megs 80 which looked sweet.
I used to use a small spritz of QD to aid drying and follow up with a QD proper. By using QD on wet paint you will be watering it down so will not get the full effects off it. The only reason to use it on wet paint is to make drying slightly safer, but you will still need to QD again after...
