Selants despite providing long lasting protection much better than a wax can in most cases however lack the overall looks a decent carnuba wax will give.
Applying a wax over the sealant should add a richer warmer look than the sealant alone will give
SRP is a mild paint cleaner/polish, will clean up the paint nicely for EGP to bond to properly for deecny durable protection. The mild polishes in it will also remove and minor marks leaving a nice gloss.
The EGP is a durable paint sealant, and will protect the paint from the elements and look...
AG SRP and EGP is a bloody good combo on Silver so I would stick with it.
Working by hand and needing to correct defects Scratch X or Menzerna Final Finish will work ok to correct defects.
Waxes wise I would go with P21s over the EGP on Silver.
Shampoos Wise I like Meguiars Shampoo Plus as a...
Thinner the better on the EGP and leave it long enough to cure before removal 60 mins and do not apply in bright direct sun.
You could do the SRP, EGP and P21s in an afternoon - BUT you are better building up a few layers of EGP before using the Wax. I would suggest washing applying the SRP...
EGP first then Nattys Blue.
The EGP won't bond to Nattys, it must go over the SRP to get it to bond properly. Ideally get 2 -3 coats of EGP on then use wax.
Only problem here is AG say 12 -24 hours between layers of EGP.
I would use a coat of EGP each week after a wash then after the 2 or 3...
LOL P21s is great for looks nowt else!
As far as waxes go they are all 3 are very low in durability stakes - All of the 3 waxes you list none are long lasting or durable. You may get 4 weeks max out of all 3 if you lucky. Picking out of the 2 P21s would be my choice as it looks best out of the...
Nightmare - Has it dried?
Going to be a nightmare tbh, I spent 2 hours cleaning litres of wood stain from a neighbours car which luckily was waterbased, yours maybe a little more tricky.
White Spirit/thinners will be you only hope, you will have to try it and see.
Opposite for me apply most things with the yellow foam pads. In general use the normal foam pads are fine, deeper cleaning and polishing look into the German Style foam ones with different foam grades or even look into using a folded terry towel for more bite.
Find the MF ones handy to get very...
Wipers you need to set each time you use the car. Choose Position one of the stalk which will do one sweep of the screen. If it rains on the journey they should work then.
Lights - Sounds like they need to be set to auto.
Engine off, turn the ignition on. Turn the end of the light stalk from...
Will be interesting to see the outcome then after last year then - despite it have being fine for the last 5 odd years before.
Looking at how quiet last years Classic and Sportscar day looked I can see why there may be a u-turn though.
CG sealants have all been poor durability wise for me.
Go for a decent sealant - Autoglym Extra Gloss topped with P21s will see you ok.
If the Toyota Paint is anthing like Brazo's old Black Corrolla it will be soft as hell.
The Collinites and Megs 16 all last well. None look as good as they less durable waxes such as P21s.
I would rather use a good sealant and top with a better looker myself.
