Proper compouding is not something you would want to do every week.
PC with a mild polish to restore gloss and sort out minor defects 'should' be fine for much more uses.
As above practice on some scrap panels first. In the right hands will produce great results, but lacks the safety of a random orbital machine such as the porter cable.
If your nails catch in the bumper ones chances are the deeper ones won't come out. Megauirs Scratch X will improve it, nothing but paint will fix the mirror.

AG SRP and EGP will work as well IMO.
I use above topped with the Poorboys or the Swissvax offerings as they add to the looks over the EGP used alone and can be applied much quicker than redoing the EGP all the time. 5-10 mins or so to do the wheels using one or the other.

Will be fine to polish it as long as it is a bodyshop safe sealant/wax free one. Worth asking who painted it as it may also be safe to seal straight away, if not may need to wait 30-60 days.
The Klasse has more of a chemical cut so does strip through oxidised paint quicker. You could try a more abbrassive polish, working by hand Meguiars Scratch X my bring it up better. May take a few applications.
Alloys sound like they will need a refurb.
The Scratchs and bird crap etching may come out if working by hand with some elbow grease and Meguiars Scratch X. Chances are it will need a few applications on each of the defects to sort it.
If some one local has a machine polisher it would speed up...
