Be intresting to know how you get on if you do it. I was all set to buy a cheap phase 1 and face lift it exterior wise when I repainted it, then I saw the dash and have decided to just get a phase 2 base car now.

Tell that to Stromba ;) Agreed though going to that expense you may aswell build the car to Williams spec, minus the nasty seats.

A new Williams would never be a proper Williams though - 2.0 power would make sense though.

A couple of people have built Sierra Cossies from brand new shells etc, would only do it if I was trying to make a factory fresh standard car. If your going to be uprating loads of parts you may aswell just refresh and old car.

As said P/stations wheel figures are always a big talking point I had my 182 ran there as it is just round the corner from mine. What gear did the run the 197 in ?
