I still want a Canon EF 17-40mm F4L but it wont be that wide on the 350D and it is twice the 200 quid budget!

When I find a 172 suitable as a track car it is being vinyl wrapped by a guy round here, it makes sense. Though if the 172 is tatty I will just paint it white!
As a club we should be having a good turnout and a decent looking stand, going to see if I can secure a few more places on the stand in the next few days so keep an eye on the other thread.
Agreed, though as long as you stick to the mild non aggressive ones they are much of a muchness anyway and nearly all said to be made by the same company.
Intensive Polish (PO85RD 3.01) is the one designed for newer Ceramiclear paints, which means it can be worked longer without drying up..
Intensive Polish (PO91L) is the origional formula and lacks the lubricating ingredients of the above so means it dries out quicker in some cases to quickly...
Working by hand at a minimum something like multiple applications of Meguiars Scratch X. Depending on the deepness it may need machine polishing to remove it totally, wet sanding or even a repaint if it is too deep :(
The problem with roofs is down to there height it is hard to apply the same pressure as you can else where even if your tall.
You could look into Menzerna Intensive Polish as the next stage up.
Depending what product it is it should be easy to remove. Most dressings are water based and will scrub off just using soapy water. Anything more durable will come off with All Purpose Cleaner or Autoglym Engine and Machine Cleaner.
No sealants of waxes unless the bodyshop says it is ok, also no polished that contain the above so the likes of Autoglym Super Resin are out of the equation. Some of the Meguiars Pro line products that are pure polishes are ideal.
In the same token the bodyshop may bake it properly and tell you...
