oem headunit will strugle its bag off and not make the speakers sound anywere near their best, ideally you want them to be running from an amp or failing that if you dont fancy the wiring of an amp...a damn good aftermarket headunit :)

the kappas arent harsh as such, but yhe crossover gives to options...normal trable or +3db treble. when on +3dc the tweeters are a bit "bright" to be honest, can be a little overpowering

just recomending them, whos to say hell like any of your suggestions? im only suggesting them as i like them and he might want to go and have a listen 2 a pair if possible

i have the kappas and have recomended the to pete (pablo) on another forum, you get very good speakers for your money especially if you buy them from an ebay trader :)

hes essentialy rendered the fuses useless by the looks of things anyway, as each of the red connectors is now acting inplace of a fuse but obv wont break if there is too much current running through them

have a look on the insude of the fuse cover and see what correspondes to each bodged in large blade fuse :)

Hello pete, your the guy i refered over to hear from overclockers are you not? ive got mine lowered 60mm on 16s (with 5mm spacers on each wheel) and i have no rubbing what so ever, ive only got mine lowered on springs at the min which is a bit crap, was going to get some upgraded shocks soon...

my argument isnt over the price of oil. its the tax our goverment slaps onto each litre we buy. i went over 2 spain recently and theyre were paying like 70cent a litre which i think worked out around 50p now even if oil prices have gone up and they now pay 60p a litre....then were still paying...

the killer is the fact that the goverment blame prices on the middle east crisis....yet the fuel in the petrol stations tanks was shipped a couple of months before the crisis....yet we recieve the price hike immidietly...funny that!

go to a renault specialist rather than renault, unless you have warrenty to worry about mate :) youll pay less, get someone whos probs more clued up on renaults than renault them self and will treat your car with respect
