Hopefully Valve won't even question releasing that! I've got a whole host of ideas I wish they would implement into the third game - but my biggest 'wish' would be to add some diversity into the four characters. I don't want full-blown RPG-esque options and unlock trees - but some slight...
Spot on. For such a small 'benefit' - they really aren't worth it. And for the weight of a (hot) medium family dog to be sat on your lap all that time too? I'd buy one for a gimmick - say a decent i5/i7 for something daft like £120. But other than that - not a chance.

Lol! Sure, there are dangers - they cocked up with the Hindenburg for a start ;). But I'm sure with effort and money behind it, there would be ways to make the most abundant element in the known universe - a decent power source.

Personally, I wouldn't go there. Gaming and laptops are two words that should never really be mixed. Their very nature (lack of upgrade paths, limited space, small screen, few USB ports, etc) means they are a bit poo for running most games. Universally it's the onboard graphics that let them...
Sorted it. Cleaned up the little pins on the bulb holder itself, then bent them slightly outwards with the tip of a small screwdriver. They looked a bit pushed-in.
Reattached and all indicators work fine again now. :)

Swapped the bulb out with a new one, but still no joy. I'll try cleaning the connectors when I get home with a little wire brush.
Any other suggestions I could try?
Cheers,

Totally agree. I despair of the 'electric fascination' that is bestowed on manufacturers at the minute. I will resist until the pumps run dry and I have no other option but to comply. I applaud Ford for this engine - a good technical achievement and even better marketing result. But I'm still...
Gotta admit, it ran like s**te on my PC when I first got it. Mind you - that was v1.0000000001 - so it's kind of expected. I haven't noticed much else of being an issue - but the GTA series never really captivates me anyway. I played the one set to 80s music (San Andreas?) the most - but even...
You're in Derby? With several specialists on here within a short drive from you?
It sounds like you've had your fingers burnt once and fortunately, managed to get away with it. Polite, helpful and friendly they maybe - but aren't you asking for yet more potential risk with a 2nd visit...
It's simple. If you've got the space to store the Vee - SORN it. Don't get shut because you 'feel' you have to.
Of course, if you've nowhere to keep it in storage, then that's a more practical problem and you should consider selling up.

Lol. I was an Amiga person through and through. But I do recognise Atari's influence with my wallet ;)
Not forgetting I still have my 2600 Woody at home too!

Just curious really. I reformatted the PC on Tuesday night and in the process of putting stuff back on, I was wondering what the largest install size is that you've come across, recently?
I reinstalled Shogun 2 and that tipped the scales at 26GB - even though I haven't got all of the DLCs for...
PMSL! I haven't seen one that bad since I bought a Physx card off eBay years back! One of the benefits of having several air-compressors at work - I blast out my PC every couple of months.
Glad you got the issue sorted too. :)

^^^ - that sounds the most likely culprit. I ran that same board for years with ATi, single nVidia cards and nVidia cards in SLi without the issues you mention. Being the SLi-spec board as well, both PCI-e slots run at x16 - so it shouldn't matter which slot your gfx card is in. Some of the...
'03 silver 172 yesterday and an RB 182 heading up towards Sainsburys earlier this afternoon. Also spotted an 182 Baked Bean on the A515 on the way down here yesterday, near Pomeroy (sp?)
