    yeah i normally say 38 is about the limit on a 172, you might have to moddify with 36 the front bumper brackets, but its no biggie

    172 cup is et 38.5 172 normal is ET48 182 is ET 45 172 phs1 is ET 43 all off the top of my head, so i could be worng

    ^ABS does go mental if you lean on it, if you have ESP it really s***s itself with different tyre sizes front and rear cheers for the recommendation

    funnily enough i figured this out, its nowt to do with the exhaust its the engine mounting! some fit inline/under the bumper, some poke out, its the bloody engine mounts that cause it! a car came in with the tail pipes almost under the bumper, i did the cambelt on it, it went back wih...

    yeah the gasket is over £70 most of the cars left the factory without them, just use silicone, everyone else does! thats the oil strainer/breather plate for future referecne

    that's cheap IMO make sure they've got the renault specific tools for doing the belt otherwise we'll have ANOTHER "my car feels slow after belt change" thread

    around the £250 mark fitted off the top of my head is what i'd be (don't quote me on the LOL!) £68.19+vat for the arm and ball joint complete £50 for a lambda 3 tops hours to do the lot
