lol sod it i give up
sounds to much trouble and too many things can go tits up. they sound fine anyway. got decent cable for the rest of the journey from the headunit to the amp and amp to crossover.
yeah ive done a similar thing already tbh dan, i bought a female iso connector so i didnt have to splice the origional iso connector and then just chopped the ends of in the door so i could put some proper speaker connectors on. id just like to have upgraded wiring through the door if possible...
shifts that does mate
im thinking when im back on the road ill post a 1.2's 0-100 time
only problem is i dont know where will host a video that long lol
as title really, anyone know how to do this? id like to upgrade the speaker cable going into my doors from the oem crap to some nice shiny new cable for my components.
ta, russ
Hi, i fitted my infinity components the other week and origionally mounted the crossovers in the boot but have now decided i dont want them there, ideally out of site, out of mind lol. any mounting suggestions? was thinking possibly next 2 the passenger airbag?
Check that both connector blocks are in the back of the Headunit mate. is the Headunit actually powering up?
you need 1 run of cable (1 positive and 1 negative) going from the Headunit to the crossover and 1 run from crossover to the woofer and finally and 1 run from crossover to the tweeter...
looks good mate, the colour coded mats set it off nicely as well.
i love that colour blue, if i get a decided to get a 182 thats the colour i want. looks stunning.
yeah i was hoping all the gadgets would be in the CC panel, but if its going to cost anywere near that much then not sure its really worth it. just thought it would be a nice feature and project. id assume the sensor in the roof light would be in the car as standard tbh?
cheers guys, seem to be getting alot of good comments about the alloys.
Im looking into getting them refurbed soon as theyre getting a little knocked about now.
lol handles well to be fair and the ride is fine for me as long as im anywere in staffordshire except stoke-on trent (worlds worst roads) but unfortunately i work in stoke so have to go there everyday
tbh mate i dont have any problems with carparks or speedbumps what so over. can even carry 5 people in the back. will let you know what its like when ive got new shockers on.
