The samples route does look handy.
Luckily it was just shampoo and the 2 Zymol Quick Detailers for me this time to maintain the wax finish - so a cheapish order for once lol
Brazo was using the 83 at the weekend on his in the sleet and snow when I was there on Sunday and it looked spot on.
The IP has more bite than the SSR 2.5, and the Powergloss is more potent still - use with care. You should have no problems cutting it now!
You will love the finish the Menzerna's give - not the easist buggers top work with. PO85RD is a fantastic final polish.
I am waiting a few Zymol bits that I ordered on Monday, hoping they will be here for the weekend.
I always advise people to buy:
2 light cut, 2polishing and 2 finishing pads minimum. You may need to change polishes, get one dirty during the detail - you should always use a clean pad per product.
Used SSR 2.5 loads, as long as you work it long enough it breaks down to a wax ready even on...

The finish and looks the Onyx leaves is a step above the 50/50. I have a pot of each and have not used the 50/50 since buying the Onyx. Well worth the extra IMO.
SSR - White first, step up to the Yellow if need be.
SRP with White or Blue depending how much cut you wasn it to produce. If your following up the SSR 2.5 used on the cutting pad, I would use it on the polishing pad.
I have both the DAS and SFX pads, I use the SFX on weathered finishes, save...
For you budget P21s or Chemical Guys 50/50.
Applied over Autoglym Super Resin and Extra Gloss Protection.
Personally I would pay a but extra and go for Swissvax Onyx on your Black Gold.

Always worth claying if the paint needs it. Hand in a plastic bag after washing and you will soon tell if it is full of stuck/bonded on contaminets.
Swirl removal by hand is hard work on most cars, near impossible by hand on rock hard VW clearcoat. Scratch X will not be that succesfull.
Wash -...
Black Gold and a car wash is a no no unless you want so nasty looking swirl marks. Marks easily even in hand washing one trip through a swirlamatic and it will look shite!
Drive a 205 Gti on some B roads it is the effect it has!
It is the Stig in the top pic, and Clarkson in the second pic. He used it for his car years programme.
He said it does not run perfectly - No it runs far from perfect it runs s**t! Hangs doing pefectly simple tasks, and fails do other ones.
I want to use my old G4 with CS 1 at work at the moment.
