megs crystal polish - is it abbraisive

You should have no problems using it once a month. I would look into a nicer pure glaze though, the Megs stage 2 imo is not that special. Sticking with Meguiars look into #7 Show Car Glaze

megs crystal polish - is it abbraisive

Yeap little or no cut from the products - Its basically a glaze, lots of oils and fillers to hide defects. The applicator you use to apply it with however may give it some physical cut.

    Carlack 68

After polishing as it will do very little on any paint defects. I tend to use it when a vehicle does not need and polishing, and just needs the paint preped/cleaned up nicely to take a sealant/wax. If I have been polishing a tend to go with the AG SRP as it has some abrassives in it, so...

    Carlack 68

Same product as Klasse AIO It is a chemical paint cleaner, ideal for restoring gloss when you dont need abrassive cut, used before a sealant or wax. Wipe onto the panel with a foam hand pad or apply by machine, wipe off. I use it a panel at a time wipe on, wipe off.

    845 on wheels??

    845 on wheels??

I don't drive one of my cars this time of year ;) The other does about 20K! AG SRP and EGP have held up fine for years for me in all weathers and only ever need car soap and water to wash from then on. Only of late that I have started topping that with Swissol Autobahn Wheel Sealant or Poorboys...

    845 on wheels??

He is know longer using Zymol and is developing his own waxes. The Zymol sounds an expensive wax, but when it comes with lifetime refills and your a pro, I bet it is quite cost effective. I do it as a hobby and drread to think how much I have spend on wax alone let alone on all the polishes etc.

I have couple of waxes that need to be applied by hand, though they work fine with a foam appilcator as well. Depending on what you want done £75-200 ( + ;) )

I would not wash you wheels for a tenner ;)
  26. Rich

    HELP, Arrgghhh!!

I would wash it off even if it is just with a bottle of water in that area. Will have stripped the wax off, doubt it would have done any real damage to your paint apart from make it go dull.

Applying it by hand is because the wax needs warmth to make it spread.
