Fixed it, I never checked the hosts file but your right, I was experimenting with some software and had altered the host file to suit. Doesn't matter anymore since the software I was experimenting with isn't compatible with lion so just removed the line and it all works :) Cliosport 1 - Mac...

Its an ongoing issue, been doing it a while now. I've not messed with anything on the MBP, its strange that it effects all the browsers though. Dont have any dodgy software that I know of, everything is MS/Adobe or downloaded from the app store.

lol, my old 1.2 clio wouldn't start once. A passing friendly mechanic stopped and started whacking the starter motor. Turned out to be a dodgy earth strap. Should of seen the look on my face when he got his hammer out the van :rasp:

I'd avoid the Pentax, the lack of decent lenses secondhand and the high prices of new lenses made me sell mine. That and it was quite hard to use as a noob. Stick to the big 2 names imo

I'd get a 60d body only and a used 17-40mm L lens, might need slightly more than £1k but not a lot more
