    ok so with the tool in the sump plug, and with the end of the rachet pointing towards the passenger wheel, are you pulling it towards you or pushing it away? this is with you at the front of the car obviously

    you maybe turning it anti clockwise with the clock back-to-front ;)

    eh? how can 1 valve press hard on the lobe? that's an exhaust cam

    yep, inlet cam has 4 small holes and one large hole in one end, exhaust is solid (should have a stud sticking out the end)

    inlet cam - 7700115267 exhaust cam - 8200032853 catcams 420's are stock cams (in simple terms) made from billet (aka 1 piece)

    the cam lobes are pressed on, that looks like a heat treatment problem when the cam was manufactured - so your dodgy batch thing rings true are you replacing it with a NEW cam or a 2nd hand part?

    jesus i've not seen that on an F4R before! i have however seen a 60K mile engine that was 15valve from new!

    eh? you just grind the flange down a bit on the car's hub, spacers go on fine then, no need for machining the actual spacers

    its the most common in my experience, the left hand side of the car takes more load over its life span (ie roundabouts) if it gets louder when turning right it will be the left side
