Used it yesterday to go to to a mini safari type place. Wife and kids had somewhere dry to change boots and coats etc, the rubber floor in the cab got filthy from the kids and the dog. A quick wipe with an old towel and it’s like new in there again now. absolutely brilliant thing so far, I love it.

Buy yourself another front or rear seat. Take that and your current damaged seat to an interior trimmer and they will chop up the spare seat and sort it all for you. For around £120. (just booked in to have mine done)

182 Cup hubs and driveshafts (abs rings are different) are a pain. I fitted them to mine and now I want coilovers, my choice is vastly limited. Me personally, I’d stick with 54mm.

If it’s intermittent you can Bodge it together with some cable ties and/or some electrical tape.

You say it’s chipped in a few places, is that chipped because you Hit it with tools etc? Or is it peeling in places? If it’s the former, I’d just do some blow Ins. If it’s peeling I’d strip it fully and do it again.

Second hand box for £150 and a days work to fit. or, get a duff box, send it off to be rebuilt properly, get a new clutch also, and fit all that. Probably looking at £800. if the rest of the car is good, you’d be mad so get another clio. You could end up with more issues than just a gearbox.
