05/09/02 - VTS Trouble!
I bought the beast about May 2002, after waking up one morning thinking I needed to get one I made an extra special trip to the bank! 30 minutes later I came out with £5000. So there I was skipping to the shop to buy an Auto Trader (dont really trust garage sales)...
no u cant see the speaker it is covered by the newly made doorcard with a whole and covered in fabric so the sound goes through.
was gonna offer to help ya but lincoln is along way from junction 8 on the m25 lol

if u take off the rear plastic panels u are presented with the chasis of the car, there is a hole that i screwed a board to and mounted my speakers on this thencut out a whole in the plastic panel and made anew hollow doorcard and stuck it back on so the sound could come through
hard to...
i would amp up the speakers and subs seperately
yes 2 12s will be alot better
if the 6x9s are on the parcel shelf either make a box for each or get rid o em
if its a 5 door get some rear door speakers
if its a 3 door ive got rear speakers in the side pannels.
im personally not one...
well i fcuked that up lol
get the right 15s and they can deal with most things apart from really punchy bass, mine struggle on this but thats partly because my amps aint powerful enough.
i lisen to everything from rnb to garage o the beatles and the 2 15s do my proud.
depends on ya music...
yes i know its never gonna be anything more than a car for doing the weekly shopping in but since puttin my install in the cars slowed down a bit and wouldnt mind gettin a bit of power back.
my m8 mentioned cams.
what can i do without breaking the bank to make it a bit faster?
any ideas...
yup the hiddn button idea is the best. u can even put it right under the car so u have to jack the car up to press the button. ok u will ahve to ask a fellow motorist to borrow thier jack for 5 mins but its better than some little pickie finding the magic button.
and where abouts are you...
opps didnt actually make a suggestion, find someone fairly competent from the board and get em round for an afternoon and bung em 50£ for the favour. otheriwse the audioshops will skank you big time
