I bought a 2 month old one & saved 000's ;) + mines fully specced, speedlines, ac, GW & recaros :D Don't get a basic one as no one wants them.

Your in between 2 markets. Your boy racer/trackday nut will want the cup pack & recaros. The 'i don't know or care what i drive bunch' won't want the boy racer wing :o It's an 08/08 so can't be compared with 06 motors, still got 2 yrs warranty & AA + updated ecu etc. £11K is where...

What condition were they in before?? Blisters, corrosion etc etc?

Mate has access to supply of the stuff. Would this reduce / eliminate the pressure build up experienced on track. Should reduce checking pressure times as the stuff don't seem to escape as easy as air, larger molecules.

Typical CS bullshit as per usual, them that have never driven one, them that have had a 2 min test drive & them that can only dream. The trophy is night & day from 172 & 182, yes it's basic but it does everything you could want from a hot hatch & more, lots more. But then the 197 gets...

Got lots of waxes just need a good polish cleaner. Ala tar spots & fallout. What products you recommend Matt etc?

Well after all the squeaks & rattles of my 172 & trophy, the 197 is such a nice place to be:D After 3 weeks of ownership i can now see why 'Lee' told me i would not miss the trophy once the Cup was given a proper drive.
