Do not drain the fluid, bleed it out with fresh fluid. Keep topping up res & don't let it get too low. If you get air in the system ala abs unit big nono!

Well coming from owning a trophy for 2 yrs+ (172 before for 2yrs) the 197 Cup i have now is more than a match for the trophy. Standard no mods or sticky tyres all i can say is 'wow'. The brakes are what the trophy needed from day day one, more feel & masses more stopping power that is...

Anyone used the Bridgestone Potenzas reo70's ? My mates subaura had no probs & little wear all day at Silverstone unlike my contis :cry:

Yes mate take your time on that beast. I lost 2 good mates last yr due to bike accidents, so not an option for me, have full licence as well:o

Well as of today i can honestly say the Trophy is a fond yet distant memory. Anyone who slates the 197 really needs to have a long drive or do a trackday in one. Today the Cup took trackday fun to a new level, out the box with no brake upgrades or sticky tyres it was a revelation.

How easy these to fit? Undo clips slide out replace? Anything else?

My wife reckons the 197 is easier to drive than my Trophy & MX5.

Looks even better today it got a proper bath;)

I read a mag & they changed to some new dunlops & did back to back tests against contis & the dunlops were miles better. JT confirmed it on RS.
