Its not pointless but it wont get you the full preformance out of your mods.
If you are planning to drive to surrey to get it, it would be cheaper to buy your own RStuner and do it yourself.
There are plenty of ppl closer to casile that can do you a RStuner map if thats what you want.
You can...
Aux belt - 3 years or 36K
Cambelt - 5years or 72K
Normally you do the Aux belt along with the Cambelt, because it can be done quickly for little cost aswell.
Well be prepared to get frustrated at first :P Took me a while to work out how to get the best out of my cheap lense.
Add me on flickr (adrianbarron) and you will see how i have improved with it this year.
Weve had a look about but not really found anyone in the northeast we are happy with, we are planning on getting our set up by BPM/matt, or curtis/powerstation.
Carl just needs to get his arse in gear and sort it
Go for it then, aslong as your engines in good nick it will run fine.
Save your self more money and fit it yourself you learn alot from it :D
Or buy a LSD they completely change how the car drives aswell :D.
Good luck if you decide to go for them :D
ive said many times before and argueed. They are great on track, Personally i wouldnt be spending that much money on a clio road car, i also dont think you would see the full benefits of ITBs on a road car. (unless your a street racer :P)
They are reliable to a extend, but weve had a few...
Most random drive ive been on was when me and car visited, oulton park, then down to london. Could not find any where save to park the car overnight so drove back home to durham.
Was epic.
I would rather take my cars to the person i know/trust/believe to be the best in that field.
AAS exhausts are second to none, pauls mapping is second to none.
Freds knowledge and skill is second to none.....you get the picture.
Having different places is not a problem aslong as you know...
AAS - Advanced automotive systems - in Newcastle for youe exhaust
Icarus for cheap Cams :P Fred to fit them.
Pick up some matched inlets frome Jamsport or angel works,
Then head to RStuning leeds to get it all mapped up.
Cos if you are going to do it, you have to do it properly :P
GDI/OMEX are the specialist id guess, not the cheapest way to do it but probably the easiet and least hassle free.
Ktec use the same OMEX kit.
Or you can buy the parts and do it yourself, some companies are being able to even map them on standard OEM ECU.
Felt faster than the 182 but didnt feel anywhere close to the pace of the track car.
Only thing i wish they had put on the 200 is a LSD cos after having one the make the world of differance.
