Its a decent price if you were planning on doing a rep yourself, but its expensive for what the car really is.
probably cheaper than doing the work yourself, but you can pick up a 172 for that price.
Learn to drive then :quiet:
1 Make sure the cambelt has been done.
2 Make sure its HPI clear
3 Make sure its not silver :rasp:
4 usual wear and tear on parts ect.
Used to love that when i worked at halfords.
"you got any oil for my car"
"sure, what car is it and i will check the system"
"i only need oil why do you need to know what car it is"
".........."
:<
look at it this way.
1800/365 = (roughly) 5
Therefore £5 a day insurance + Tax and fuel , Dont know how far you drive a day but guess you cud work it out.
I know i would like one, but i can not justify the cost :P
Dont normally torque steer a great deal, and the steering normally would feel very sharp.
Maybe check your tyres and have your tracking set up
welcome tho
You know what i think Clart, great photos, and all though you were not able to get as many photos as you wanted i hope giving you a ride out in our car made the trip up worth it :D
LOL, but i do have a car with ITBs on so i able able to have a opinion on this. CS some times is a funny place.
I have a 172 ITB track car and a 182 standard road car, all im saying is my 182 is more than capable for what i need, and i can not see ME ever needing or wanting to have ITBS on the...
Yes but if i was to spend the money for ITBs (i have already) i would have to go the full way Decat exhaust ect to make the most of it. Personally i can not see the point in ITBs on the road (mainly throwing nearly 2k modifing a road car).
Re: PH1 172 Track Car, abit special *ITB update*
The car had not been set up properly on the ASTs so the front and rear were about the same stiffness, and running hardly any cmaber, the car wouldnt turn in and was understeering,
So we stiffened up the rear and added a s**t ton of camber to...
Because i dont drive my road car hard enough to see the benefits i feel i would only ever use about 50% of the potential of ITBs on the road, i leave the hard driving till on track in the track car. for the miles i do on the road i couldnt have the noise all the time ect.
We talked with Paul for RStuning about ITBs on standard ECU, the problem is you would need to trailor the car to him and the wireing is different, i do believe he is working on it atm.
But a OMEX of aftermarket ECU is easy but the more expensive route.
We run ours on a standrad crank and rods...

We did Donny today, Carl had a early start to drive the car down. It was a Circuitdays trackday and there was some awesome machines there.

To save the most wieght u need to take that crazy foam stuff of but u may dent the roof doing it, and once you head liner is our the clio roof is hilariously thin :D
I prefer shooting bikes to cars if im honest, but gotta love mallory park for photos such a awesome circuit for photography.
Great photos Clart, may we see u tomorrow ?
so so so wrong, nothing flows properly, and it all looks like its been thrown on, body kits that follow the original lines of the car look decent but that is horrid.
