Mini Cooper S Works GP No1021

Not unless you leave £5000 in the glove box!

Mini Cooper S Works GP No1021

Whilst I agree they look naff (they look like they belong in a mondeo) they are proper comfy, the leather is really soft, and they are the fastest/hottest heated seats I've ever used!

Mini Cooper S Works GP No1021

11 months of dribs and drabs working on it, and this is the end result. To say I'm happy with it is an understatement! Work we've done; 4 new dunlop SP Sport tyres, 205-40-18 New discs and pads all round Wheels refurbed and re-polished Full service Brake fluid change New timing...

    Aftermarket Wheel/Airbag question

Get it programmed out via Clip. The car will then know that there is no steering wheel airbag but all airbags are fine. I'd never trust that resistor method personally!

    My New Golf

It's a really good looking car! How much was it advertised for Jim?

Mini John Cooper Works GP 0316

I actually prefer the ride on the new Dunlop SP run flats I've fitted over the toyo non run flats it had on before. Lots of people hate run flats but I can't see the issue personally.

Hmmm, same as mine. I have a receipt for some eibach's but the ride height looks identical to yours, the springs themselves look identical and they don't have any writing on them that say eibach. I don't think mine has eibach's.

[Sep 12, 2015] Forge Action Day (Castle Combe)

I won't be able to come now guys. A bit gutted as there's LOADS of people I know going to this one. :-( But I've been offered a lot of money to work for a mate so money wins I'm afraid. Have a great day all.

    My Evo VI

Even among all those jap cars, the blob eyed scoob still really stands out amongst the rest. Can't put my finger on why but they look so f**king awesome.

    New car thread (With Pictures)

Get someone from here that's local to you to do it. Where do you live? (Great improvements though, new bulbs and lenses freshen it all up a treat and it's the first thing I do too)

Is that because he's a miserable sod?

Your car when you first joined and now?

I had X404HOU when I joined, my first ever 172. Back in April 2005 iirc! I now primarily have a Modus diesel and a mini Works GP amongst others. (172, 1.2, CRV, 525i, fiat 20VT)

    The Ford Appreciation Thread

My father in law scrapped (for 25 quid iirc) a lotus Cortina. I'll get a picture of it next time im up his house. Silly old sod. It wouldn't start one morning so he towed it to the scrapper. Went out and bought a brand new 1892 XR3. Not bad for a man with zero interest in cars.

There were a handful of 02 exclusives. The numbered plaque is a mystery though, I thought they all had them?

You seem to have absolutely no sense if humour. You must fit in well on CSOC.

Clio 200T EDC, What's up with them?

The last time I checked (I could be wrong so forgive me if I am) the Renault Clio wasn't in the same market placement as a Ferrari/Merc/BMW. The fiesta is though. And they've sold 10 times the amount.

Clio 200T EDC, What's up with them?

Have you ever done a track day in both? I have. I went from a Mini JCW auto to just a cooper S manual. Despite the JCW auto being faster, the CS manual was infinitely more fun. The difference was day and night. Obviously it's horses for courses, one mans fun is another mans pain, but I think...

That won't 'pop out' it will just look worse. The crease marks top and bottom will see to that.

Fancied doing a DIY refurb, How do I get the powdercoat off wheels?

City powder coaters, £20 a wheel, job done. I wouldn't even entertain trying to remove powder coat DIY.

Move. I couldn't deal with that. I bought a Subaru once and it got keyed on the first night I had it. I sold it the next day.

    Paint Marring on Black TT

Poor management. Managers (on the whole) treat working staff like s**t in the car trade. That then gets reflected in the work they do.
