Aftermarket Wheel/Airbag question

Chaps,

As per most people who own 1*2's the steering wheel position is not ideal for me, I wouldn't mind an aftermarket wheel with a spacer on the boss. Now my question is - When removing the drivers air bag does it create an open circuit and deactivate the others? And if you fit a resistor when fitting a wheel will the others still work?

I'd quiet like to keep the passenger one working ideally.

Get it programmed out via Clip. The car will then know that there is no steering wheel airbag but all airbags are fine.

I'd never trust that resistor method personally!

So you can switch the light off with CLIP and all the other airbags will still work?
