Tbh even if you only glance at it now and again i would still say thats a damageous place to put it. Saying some people put them on places on the windscreen that must obstruct their view. Mine is always right down low on the drivers side.

Let the car warm up, If the engine is not fully warm it will hit the limiter earlier. I can not remember the original limiters because mine have been changed by RStuner remap.

Every one knows PH1 are quicker standard anyhow.

I read that your 17....are you going to declare this new engine to DVLA and insurance??? Becos if not you are a (insert lots of insults). Else it depends what you want but i would imagine than no insurance companies would touch you on any thing bigger than a 1.6L, so i would leave it 2 year and...

If you have Fully comp, and cover to drive other cars 3rd party. you dont need to do anything.

Good luck seeing in the sun or any light then, i drove ours with the dash board of 1 day and its impossible. not worth it.

Come to croft one day when we are out in our track car i will take you ount :D its not a cup racer but its close, soon to have a little more work done aswell.

My guess on that is that with it being relatily new the insurance companies dont have figure for write offs and other collisions involving them, so to there systems they look like safe cars atm.
