    i honestly don't know what they cost, just the cup thing for sub £13K made me think! Anyway don't new cars come with 12months tax anymore? as you can see i haven't bought a new car in a while!!! haha

    they come with silver/chrome speedline centre caps, you cannot fit the renault caps to those wheels the renault specific ones from the trophy are £150 each plus £13 per renault diamond centre cap

    yeah i kinda did, but point being, 2 decent drivers, 70bhp difference, road tyres V track tyres, stock diff V quaife diff and only 1 sec difference?

    not so sure, depends if you're (as his lordship clarkson would say, hamfisted behind the wheel) if you can pedal the car well enough then you'll be alright, k-tec when they were testing the quaife unit with cira 300bhp did a 1min 26.something round donnington on R888's, we managed a 1min...

    undo the 2 lower rear shock bolts (18mm) and jack the rear up high, it WILL come off in 1 piece, if you cut it, you're a bodger/pikey

    ^only problem being as "off the shelf" they're not as perfect as H&R IMO the AST's can be perfect, but that involves f**king about with them for a while to get them right, H&R's however, whack em on, set them up and they're pretty good all rounders generically from the start AST's after...

    tested the quaife and gripper, gripper is better IMO, but TBH if you're sub 220bhp you don't "NEED" one

    no, because you'll unbolt the ball joint from the wishbone, IE leave it connected to the hub, 10000000 times easier

    oil refil on the box is easy, pull out the air filter and elbow and whack a bendy funnel in from above

    they should come with the driveshaft all assembled already fitted just make note of which way round the metal plate is that holds on the gaitor to the box, i've seen people try and install that the wrong way round!

    basically when you set the tension it will only tighten up on the tensioner side of the belt (ie crank to exhaust pulley) you spin it round a few times to equalise the tension on the entire belt then lock the pullies and tighten them all up http://www.angel-works.co.uk/articles/f4rbuild.php

    i have been known to put a screw driver in the disc before LOL oh yeah caliper needs to come off and cable tie it to the spring

    on a phs1 you might stuggle actually thinking about it, the centre of the wheel is tiny yeah you have to drain the box oil, oops i forgot about that bit! LOL
