the last one is the best IMO
195/45, too skinny, look wrong, horrible ride
195/50 ok, popular and cheap
205/45 never tried them
205/50 perfect look and ride/handling IMO
you've been hearing fibs, its all down to fitting, easy peasy though
they're made in a jig so all fit the same
the rear exhaust rubbers do "sag", but that's a standard feature of renault!
alcon were ran on the 172 cup racers, but they had problems with them exploding IIRC, they were then changed to Helix, but then i think they were changed again to quarter master
if you want DBW still then you won't be using an OMEX, DTA S80/S100 is where you should be looking
again if you're wanting to keep the DBW, think of a price and then add £2K
all 172/182 engines are interchangeable between cars, just the inlet from your car needs to be used
wiring etc is all unplug, plug in, bang off you go
what happened to your engine?
i know you're narked off a bit, but if its rushed and the map causes your engine to go pop you'll be even more narked off
plus the test car is a cable throttle, so from what i hear on the grapevine a bit of swapping bits over has been going on
