Fully agree, I was never going to sell my 309 Goodwood, or 205 1.9 GTi and both are now gone. When you get offered the right money and fancy a change, the outlook you have soon changes. It would have to be something really really special to make it worth keeping forever.

Re: Sunday Goodwood 06 Pics - Rich, thanks bud! ;) Dust getting into the body is the side effect of changing lenses no matter how carefull you are. Most peope recommend using proper lens wipes to clean Lense Glass and Filters. I just fog mine up with my breath and wipe with a Microfiber cloth...

I get scared if I go North of Birmingham ;) You could, but to get the full durability from EGP you need to apply it over the SRP. For what its worth Megs NXT IMO is a bit poo ;)

No point using Megs NXT over AG EGP as the NXT has cleaners so removes the protection that the EGP gives. Use one of the other, for my the EGP as it lasts 3 times as long as the NXT. Wash - Sonax Gloss Shampoo ( Vauxhall Dealers supply ;) ) Clay - Megs Quick Clay Swirl Remover - Megs Scratch X...

Knowing what the GTi 6 inlet manifold is like, spray an acid based cleaner on it and it will turn white.

If it is acid based, I would not used it on your engine bay.

The AG Leather care is poor, the formulation changed a few years ago and it was never the same. Used to dry oddly on my 306 seats.

The Megs hand pads will be ok, you will get more bite and be able to apply the pressure more evenly using a folded terry towel though. You need to work the product in back and forth movements until the product is goneand there is nothing left to remove.

Working by hand the best bet is to try some Megauirs Scratch X. That said how deep do the marks feel, does your finger nail catch in them?

John if you dont buff it after application the excess will streak when it gets wet. The upper 182 grille has some kind of matt paint rather than being unpainted plastic like the lower one. Bumper care is meant for unpainted plastic, put on the upper grille it looks odd. Poorboys Natural loook...

The Megs 3 step is not the greatest for PC use as none have any cut to sort defects. Poorboys SSR range of polishes by PC for me.

Looks super clean. Very nice work. Do the calipers a factory look colour to freshen them up.
