Indicators playing up..... Sounds like UCH about to s**t itself to me! Try turning the ignition off, and under the glovebox is the UCH. Pull out and replace the wiring plugs 20+ times. Sometimes the connections corrode and it causes issues. I once bought a cup with a 'failed' UCH and this...

As per the others, try and get a space saver in there. If you have a blow out or a ripped tyre, tyre weld won't be doing s**t and you'll wish you bothered to put a space saver in. I speak from bitter experience.
