Renault will be hard work, but a new cars catch comes with 3 years warranty so should last that long surely? Also, who service's it? Iirc the catch must be lubed up every service as per renaults guidelines too.

My old one was 13", the resolution of the screen made up for the small size. It was perfect for the almost 3 years i had it. On 15" MBP now and I think its a good balance of screen size/portability. I was looking at the 17" but it is just too big, would be difficult to get comfy on the sofa or...

I have that problem, town next to me is Bradford (soon to overtake manchester as one of the worst place's for car claims!) and that puts mine up a bit.

Garage said the aux belt is too slack, he's going to look into it when he gets a minute anyway. He only had 2 minutes on it before he had to close up (and give me a free lift home :o) If it is just the aux belt i'll just let him fit the full kit, like i said, never had the full aux kit done in...

Quoted someone I was talking to fairly high prices for work doing, and also someone else on a meet once paid a lot. I'd rather travel to birchdown or you, would work out cheaper too :) Will keep it in mind and might give them a shout if needed, dont really think it should be a job that requires...
