Ok, so, I've put a custom headunit in. I understand I need the cable to get the steering wheel controls to work with my headunit, but is there a way to get the clock to also display the radiostation and outside temperature again? Cheers

Isn't that a bit of a catch 22 then? You didn't get a bigger engine because of insurance prices, but instead you plan on making your 1.2 a lot more costly on insurance with mods? I don't know, maybe I'm being stupid.

You're not even on the road yet and you're already planning to make it quicker? You are aware that all mods you do need to be declared to your insurance, making it more expensive, right?

It's a late 2008 model. Got it for free and only using it for xCode anyway (which means getting Lion or Mountain Lion on it). I could change the battery myself, would rather just not fish out the $ for one if its a software issue.

It sounds stupid to suggest the battery isn't shot, but after the SMC, and the Macbook not recognising it all together, it seems something more sinister. I reinstalled S/Leopard, and it offered me the SMC update, but alas, only worked for 30 seconds. I guess I'll find an auth dealer, see what...

Recently got given a Macbook. Only works when plugged into mains, and the battery symbol shows a "x" through it and says "No batteries available"... Any ideas what this is? Originally I thought a shot battery, but surely even if the battery was finished it would still recognise it has one...

Yeah mate, that's the route I went down in the end, VirtualBox. I spend Mon-fri writing in C++, so just love writing in VB for a bit of a break, .net is just something I've never bothered with. No reason really.

Yeah, was going to host my own VM originally, but can't be bothered with all the hassle just to use VB6 for a couple of hours to write some new encryption classes. VB6's compatibility on Winblows 7 is weak!

Any recommendations for a site to purchase a VPS running Windows XP boot? Cheap and cheerful! Want to start writing a few applications in VB6 again but it has compatibility issues with Windows 7! Cheers.
