yeah the lower the first number the better it is for cold weather, the first number describes the oils viscosity at 0degC the lower the number the thinner it is IIRC
the 40 is the oils viscosity at 100degC, the higher the number the thicker it is

you need to remove the inlet and exhuast pullies to get the rocker cover off, plus the exhaust manifold etc etc, t**t of a job
all the "big tuners" use the helix grp A one, same as in the cup racers, its good for 300bhp and 250lbft IIRC there is also the Alcon clutch, but they're not as reliable
at yozza (when i was still envolved) we used the helix for 10K miles and only had 0.2mm wear on the friction plate

yeah was going to say that has naff al to do with the MOT, the dci engine i know sod all about, all i know is its a right t**t to do the belt on them from what i've been told
