    grab it and bend it up (through 180degrees) don't grind it down as you will weaken the braket

    slacken the top mounts BEFORE jacking the car up (hand tight) when you take the front struts off push the bottom of the strut over the track rod, easiest way, otherwise you might scratch the arch you might need to hammer the lower shock bolts out also (21mm) just do the fronts with BOTH front...

    springs are the perfect length for the shocks, when you undo the top mount the spring doesn't poing off at 300mph like normal cars, no need for them squire (i've done over 100 of the buggers, trust me) 37min is the time to beat (all 4 corners, no ramp, no air tools) ;)

    its mainly the setup time, it also depends on whether you're going to kwik fit or a motorsport specialist, the equipment will be (well should be!) a lot more precise at the motorsport place a full chassis setup (corner weighting, camber adjustment, alignment etc) can be upto £250, but its time...

    i do know of an audi tt that was smashed up and the insurance didn't pay out becuase it had cheap tyres on it

    unless you run a full on racer with on board bias adjustment then no, std will be fine
