I was like you with my 205 GTi Tom which ran 185/55, I kept to the correct size despite the extra cost. I felt the car was a lot better to turn in etc witht he correct sized tyres on. No idea what differences are made on valver tho.

I notice it on mine 5 mins after cleaning it! What products are you using on it? Some products are dust magnets and seem to atract it where as others don't.

For the money Good Year GSD3 F1, worth paying the extra over the Toyos IMO. If money dont matter get the PE2's 195/50s will save you some cash too.
