Neil came up today for PC'ing on the valver.
Things started off well with the a wash and the sun out - but the rain soon came down meaning fighting with it to get the car done. Ended up defeated though.
Managed to PC the top half of the car, but the rain set in meaning we could not do the...
Well worth using the SRP First. This ensures that the EGP has a proper base to bond to for added durability, plus the light polish will clean the paint up lovely first.
Apply the SRP with a Megs yellow hand pad and a panel at a time and wipe off with a microfiber cloth.

Phase 2 172 - Newer shape.

182 - Updated Phase 2 172, styling changes, exhaust, wheels etc.
182 with cup...

I was like you with my 205 GTi Tom which ran 185/55, I kept to the correct size despite the extra cost. I felt the car was a lot better to turn in etc witht he correct sized tyres on. No idea what differences are made on valver tho.
I notice it on mine 5 mins after cleaning it!
What products are you using on it? Some products are dust magnets and seem to atract it where as others don't.
Need a good sealant and or wax for that.
Can't go wrong with good old Autoglym Super Resin and Extra Gloss on Black (Below)
I currently have Wolfgang Sealant, with Pinnale Souveran and Poorboys Nattys Blue Waxes on mine. (Below)
