The Scratch X should be fine in the said area only, as long as the rest of the paint on the panel is in good shape, you wont tell.
The NXT will look decent on Black, is not to bad, but the protection it gives does not last long.

If you do want something to use on your new paint, look into Megs #81 Hand polish from there bodyshop range - safe for new paint.

Can't go wrong with Autoglym but the short comings in there range means
you could do with adding in some clay, a better shampoo and decent carnuba wax from other manufacturers.
Other way round, you can't wax or seal new paint (unless your painter says otherwise, normally 30-90 days) but you can polish straight away with a pure polish with no sealants or waxes in it.
The bodyshop will have already polished the new paint for you anyway.
Made start on mine tonight - Coat of Megs #7 Show Car Glaze and a coat of wax.
A few spots of rain but decided to carry on anyway and it did'nt come to much luckily!
