The new paint will be even softer so mark easier, the crap eats into the laquer and etches leaving the mark. Will need a decent polish to remove the mark.
Unfortunatley, as your car is black and we did have some sun today it tends to eat in to the laquer and etch quickly. Some Megs Scratch X should sort it. Otherwise it should come out with the PC.
What kind of look are you wanting, fake and glossy or a factory matte look?
If you want the latter, Poorboys Natural Look monthly and then weekly wipedowns with 1Z Cockpit Premium or Megs Interior Quick Detailer.

Judging by the hardness of the paint you are lucky his is Silver, Mark spent lots of time on the Rotary on the Black one.
Wheels are a damn pain, still have the cuts to remember them ;)
