    ***How much is it worth?***

Mines got a new mot, 4 new tyres and FSH, up for £999 and i've not had one single person on it! Unless they're 1/2 owner minters these things aren't worth a w**k nowadays.

    Wheels caked in brake dust

Should do. I use stuff called 'descaling acid'. It's horrible stuff but you only need to use it once. Spray on, pressure wash off, protect the wheels and then after that just use normal citrus based/other weak crap to clean them. Acid is really only for properly neglected wheels.

if it's caked on s**t, you want something with a strong acid content. I use neat acid in work and it genuinely fcuks if off. Something like this...

    Phase 1 - 1 Day auction.

It means I need to collect it mon-fri 9-5, as you want to pay the cash in the bank before you release the car. 90% of the cars I sell are at weekends or evenings as most people work. Don't get upset about criticism, we're trying to help you sell the car.

First drive out in new clio BANG!! it doesnt work anymore

Most specialists on here (I know, I checked) are cheaper for belt changes than the average garage. My local garage (been using him around 10 years, trust him implicitly) just looks on autodata and charges £35 an hour for however many hours autodata says. Book time on a 172/182 for both belts...

The original engine dropped a valve, so they fitted a new* engine and didn't bother to renew the belt kits? *the cheapest they could find on ebay

17 Year old first car insurance?

Sorry my bad. I just looked at your username and it says your car is a 1.2 clio. I was being presumptive. (it clearly didn't work!) In that case, buy a 1.0 Micra/corsa. Christ, i'd even look at a 700cc daewoo or something! As soon as you've got 1 years no claims at 18, your insurance will...

17 Year old first car insurance?

When I was 17, we used to find out what was the cheapest car to insure and then buy one. Rather than buy a car then try to find cheap insurance.

    '56 Megane radio/temp/dash fault?!

I'd try a new battery first. Dying batteries play havoc with that era of megane/scenic.
